Last weekend my children and I hosted a MegaBloks Dragon Universe Party. I had 6 boys and girls (yes girls wanted to play too) and their parents at my home, along with my three kids. I'm so glad I had very helpful parents, or it could have gotten a little out of hand!

The party was a huge success with the children and their parents. It was really nice to see the parents on the floor with the kids helping them to assemble their toys. It is always a pleasure to see the parents involved with their children versus standing on the side engrossed in "adult" conversations.

REVIEW:

The party started with a few "ice breaker" games, followed by a dragon egg hunt. Once the kids found their eggs, parents and children sat down to assemble the toys. The group spent about 45 minutes engrossed in assembly and play. The children, and moms had so much fun!

Towards the end of the party we had a drawing for the grand prize- a large Dragons Universe set. Unfortunately, there was only one winner. The other kids were so disappointed when their name wasn't drawn. Believe it or not, a nine year old girl was more upset than the younger boys that were present.

These toys will make great holiday gifts or birthday gifts for adventurous boys and girls alike!

REVIEW:

I was recently given the opportunity to review an item from Sexual Fantasy Boutique. I chose the cute little Eskimo Cutie Costume shown below. Priced at $44.97, this costume proved to be a great BARGAIN!

The costume included: a crushed velvet dress with zipper and fur lined hood and sleeves, mittens, fur lined boot covers and a fauxchocolate popsicle. I wear a size 3 and as you can see, the small fit me perfectly. The dress is very easy to put on. The zipper allows you to put it on over your head, or step into it. The dress feels very comfortable on, and I felt incredibly sexy in it! The model does have the "Angel Petticoat" under her dress, and although it adds to the cuteness factor, there is no need to spend the extra money to look great.

I have very long arms, and the sleeves were just right.  The gloves also fit my long hands very nicely, and also felt comfortable. The boot covers were a little difficult to put over my boots, but as you can see, they looked great once I got them on. The popsicle is a great addition to this well crafted sexy costume.

I attend a lot of "costume" parties throughout the year, and I can't wait to wear this to a Christmas costume party! This costume is great for the bedroom, or for an adult costume party. This holiday season surprise your spouse or significant other with something they can really enjoy!

I was anxious to give The Christmas Dream a try. My five and nine year old boys often have a very hard time falling asleep. They get up out of their beds several times before they finally fall asleep. I can honestly say that I am very impressed with this CD. The calming sounds, wonderful story telling and melodic tunes makes for a wonderful addition to bedtime. In a very soothing voice, Patti guides children through two routines to fall asleep. The first routine contains three tracks and the second contains 8 tracks.

My five year old really enjoyed the first couple of tracks in Bedtime Routine One. He was laughing and saying "This is funny", but not once did he get out of the bed! My nine year old also stayed in his bed as the CD played, and he went to sleep much sooner than he would without the CD. I also found the CD to be very calming and relaxing. It is a great way to unwind at the end of a long day.

Although this CD is a "Christmas" CD, I believe that it would be perfect for bedtime throughout the year for children of all ages. I recommend you buy a copy for your children, and to hand out as gifts to friends and family this holiday season.

I received three flavors to review. Blueberries & Honey, Blood Oranges & Honey and Chamomile, tea and Honey. My favorite by far was the Bee Alive- Blood Orange & Honey. I am a huge fan of blood oranges, so I was excited to see this as one of the flavors offered. The beverage had just the right amount of sweetness and I loved the natural taste of blood oranges. The elimination of artificial sweeteners really gave the beverage a great all-natural, refreshing taste.

The Bee Calm- Chamomile & Honey was also a nice beverage. I enjoy drinking chamomile tea, so I enjoyed the natural flavors in this tea. It didn't appeal to my taste buds as much as the Bee Alive, but it is a pleasant drink.

I am not a fan of blueberries, so I allowed my daughter to try the Bee Strong- Blueberry & Honey beverage. She stated that it taste just like blueberries, but it had a little too much honey for her. That could be because she is not a huge fan of honey.

The honey taste is quite noticeable in these beverages, so if you are not a fan of honey or aren't use to the flavor of honey, it may take some getting use to. REVIEW:

Alize liqueur was one of the first alcoholic beverages I tried almost 10 years ago, and I have been a fan every since. I was recently given the opportunity to review Alize's Red Passion Liqueur. This liqueur consists of exotic passion fruit and cranberries blended with premium french vodka.

My cousin assisted in my review, and we first tried the drink on the rocks, which is how I usually drink Alize. This was her first time drinking Alize, and she said that she really enjoyed the drink. She mentioned that it was "sweet and fruity", and the taste of vodka wasn't too strong. The mix of passion fruit and cranberry makes for one delicious drink! I can not wait to try the other blends!

RECIPES:

As previously stated, I've always drank Alize on the rocks, but I was given a few recipes to assist in my review, so I decided to try something different. When it's cold outside and you want to warm up with a tasty drink, may I suggest:

Peppermint Kiss

3 ounces Alizé Red Passion

3 ounces Taittinger Champagne

Serve chilled in a champagne glass with mint leaf to garnish.

I tried this recipe and it is a great alternative to Alize on the rocks.

Rosy Cheeks

2 ounces white wine
1 ounce Alizé Gold Passion
Serve chilled in a champagne flute.

½ ounce triple sec
Shake well over ice, strain and serve straight up in a martini glass.
