Editorial Policy
How BargainMom researches, writes, updates, and corrects editorial shopping content.
Our goal is to help readers understand products, tradeoffs, and retailer offers. Editors may consult official specifications, retailer listings, manuals, public safety information, and other relevant sources. We do not reuse manufacturer copy as a substitute for independent editorial explanation.
We only say that a product was personally tested when genuine first-hand testing occurred and the page can accurately explain it. Otherwise, we use language such as ‘based on published specifications’ and identify the limits of the research.
Prices and availability can change. A verification date is shown only when a real check was recorded. Temporary deal claims should expire when their verified period ends, while useful evergreen product context may remain.
Corrections should update the visible content and relevant structured data. Affiliate compensation does not guarantee coverage or a favorable verdict.
